Want To Know How To Increase Your Vertical Jump?
Well, if you’re trying to figure out how to increase your vertical jump and you’re looking for a short and sweet answer…
…like the one and only exercise you need to do.
…like the one supplement that you MUST have.
…like the magic pill that you can take and instantly give you ten inches to your vertical.
Well, I’m sorry but you’re not going to find that here.
And here’s why…
I’d bet that this isn’t the first article that you’ve stumbled across (if it is…YIPPEE!) and you’ve probably come across some other articles touting exercises that promise dramatic results only to find out they’re completely full of it.
The reality is this…that there simply isn’t a magic pill, magic supplement or a magic exercise that will give you the results that you want.
There’s just way too much involved in your vertical jump.
Sorry to burst your bubble.
But that doesn’t mean that you can’t get results. It doesn’t mean that you can’t do very small and minor things to your vertical jump that could have significant results.
In fact, it’s quite the contrary.
Now, if you’re anything like me, I don’t like to waste my time on BS… I like to get results and get the best results possible.
And when it comes to increasing your vertical jump, you have to be willing to accept that it’s going to take you doing something different than what you’ve ever done before.
You see, It’s not just about going and working your butt off in the gym.
In fact, if you do that, there’s a good chance that you’re actually hurting your your vertical jump (I’ll go into that more in a bit) and I’d hate for that to happen to you.
What it really comes down to is learning what you need to train and how to effectively do it. There are actually nine different facets that are involved in your vertical jump and you need to hit them all if you want to get the best results.
But most articles out there probably have you fooled… fooled into thinking that if you just follow their simple routine they posted in an article that you’re gonna get amazing results.
Come on.
You’re going to need more than just one simple workout to get you the results. That just makes sense doesn’t it?
But let me be clear.
You can get results with very minor changes.
In fact, I’ve seen athletes gain a couple of inches by just doing one minor tweak to their jump and see those results almost instantly.
But if you’re anything like me, you’re not going to settle with marginal results. I like to get the best results possible and I’m willing to bet that you do too.
Not to mention, that the difference in effort from the minor results to the major results is really not that much.
So what do you really need to do if you want to increase your vertical jump?
Well, it’s really quite simple.
You need to start training your body and your muscles for explosion.
And again, this is very counterintuitive and probably the exact opposite of what you’re currently doing.
Now I’m not going to go into the ins and outs of training for explosion in this blog post. That’s really beyond the scope of what can be written in a single post and not what this is all about.
There are numerous posts here on this blog that go into how you can effectively start training your body and muscles to become more explosive so you can increase your vertical jump, so you can check those out.
I just wanted to clear up the air so you don’t get fooled into following some BS exercise that you find in a random article only to be disappointed down the road when it doesn’t work for you.
